She was a past trustee of Englewood Hospital and was a member of SEED, the women's fund-raising organization of the hospital. She was past campaign chairwoman of the Englewood Community Chest. She was a member of the En- glewood Woman's Club, the Knickerbocker Country Club, and the Women's Auxiliary of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Surviving are her husband, Arthur two sisters, Catherine Conboy of Brooklyn and Helen Heckler of Freeport, N.Y.; three nieces, and a nephew. Mass will be Thursday at 9 a.m.

Donations to SEED, Englewood Hospital, would be appreciated. David Rubin John Widman PARAMUS David Louis Rubin, 85, died yesterday at home. Before retiring in 1960, Mr. Rubin worked for 45 years as an assistant division engineer for the New York City Board of Transportation. He was born in Poland and had lived in the Bronx before moving to Paramus four years ago.

Mr. Rubin, who graduated from Cooper Union School of Engineering, had worked his way through college by teaching in Hebrew seminaries. Surviving are a son, Ira of Paramus, and three grandchildren. His wife, the former Dora Beer, died in 1972. Services were scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

today at the Robert Schoem Chapel, 150 Route 4, Paramus, with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Fairview. The family will receive friends at home this week. H. Hickey Sr.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS Herbert J. Hickey 79, died Sunday at Riverview Hospital, Red Bank. Mr. Hickey was born in Jersey City. He had lived in Teaneck for many years before moving to Atlantic Highlands about four years ago.

He was secretary-treasurer of Alexander Hickey Co. of Teaneck. He was also a real estate broker. Mr. Hickey was on the Board of Directors of the Multiple Listings System.

He was a Navy veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, the former Amelia Rocca; a daughter, Patricia Boyle of Middletown; a son, Herbert J. Jr. of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Josephine Hickey, of Jersey City, and 10 grandchildren. Mass will be Thursday at 10 a.m.

at St. Agnes R.C. Church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.

Marks was born in Jersey City. He had lived in Wayne before moving to Wallington 20 years ago. He was a clerk in Hackensack Hospital. Mr. Marks was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the Ridgefield Park Masonic Lodge and a member of Wallington Presbyterian Church. He was past commander of the Anthony Wayne American Legion Post 174. Surviving are his wife, the former Joan Spada; a son, David, and a daughter, Jennifer, both at home. Caivano, former police captain, died yesterday at Bergen Pines County Hospital, Paramus. He was 69.

When Mr. Caivano joined the Woodcliff Lake force in 1942, it consisted of four part-time special officers. When the department was transformed into a regular organization in 1952, he was retained as a full-time officer. In 1961 he was promoted to captain. He retired in 1966.

In 1964 Mr. Caivano was awarded a Valor Award Certificate by Local 102 of the Police Benevolent Association for saving the life of Albert Raska, a young OBITUARIES Albert J. Turick SOUTH HACKENSACK Albert J. Turick, 95, died Fri- day at Bergen Pines County Hospital in Paramus. Born in South Hackensack, Mr.

Turick had lived most of his life in Little Ferry before moving back to South Hackensack 15 years ago. He retired as a guard at the Bellman Brook Bleachery in Fairview after working there 40 years. Mr. Turick was a former member of the Hackensack Redmen. He was also a member of the South Hackensack senior citizens.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. His wife, the former Barbara Hrdina, died in July. Services will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Trinka's Funeral Home, 233 Liberty Little Ferry. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Hackensack.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Jesine M. Leder TEANECK Jesine M. Leder, 90, died Sunday, in the Reformed Church Home, Irvington. Mrs.

Leder was born in North Bergen and had lived in 'River Edge and Hackensack moving to Teaneck five years ago. She was a member of the of Liberty in and belonged to the Second Reformed Church of Surviving are a son, Ralph A. of Hasbrouck Heights; a 'sister, Mary Balentine of Orange; four grandchildren, and two great-granchildren.
