START, 60. of Wyckoff died Sunday. He was a serviceman for the Heerema Company, Haledon, for the past 40 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War TL Surviving are his wife, Margaret Watson Start; a daughter, Donna Van Den Berg of Sunapee, N.H.; two sons, William R. II of Vemon and David B.

of Wyckoff; a sister, Helen Tanis of Midland Park, and six grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 10:15 a.m. at the J. H. Olthuis Funeral Home, Midland Park, with burial in Fair Lawn Cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, Harold; two sisters, Rosamund Heir and Rudy Hirsch, both of Pompano Beach; two sons, Mark of Seattle and Richard in New Jersey; a daughter, Ruth Collie of Dallas, and eight grandchildren. Y. and the National Rifle Association. Surviving are his wife, Martha Johannemann Venturing two sons, James Jr. of Wayne and George of Carlstadt; two brothers, Steve of Carlstadt and George of Emerson, and eight grandchildren. A sister, Florence Olefsky, died in 1985.

Mass will be said Thursday at 11 a.m. at St Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford, with burial in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting will be tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thomas J.

Dimly Funeral Home, Rutherford. STELLA H. WHtTAKER, 72, of Fair Lawn died Sunday. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood. Surviving are two sons, Murray F.

Jr. of Tallman, N.Y. and Duane of New Windsor, N. Y. Her husband, Murray and a son, John, are deceased.

Services will be tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn, with burial in Hamp-tonburg Cemetery, Campbell Hall, N.Y. Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. HERBERT WOLFE, 81, of Clifton, formerly of Paterson, died Sunday. Before retiring eight years ago, he was a linotype operator for The Star-Ledger of Newark for more than 40 years, and was a member of Typographical Union Local 103, Newark.

He was a member of the Americus Lodge 265, the Independent United Jersey Verein Lodge, and the Temple Emanuel Nutritional Program, all of Paterson. Surviving are two daughters, Rita Klein of Paramus and Terry Winter of New Hampton, N.Y.; a sister, Kate Feldman; a brother, Irving of Cape Coral two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. His wife, Frances Saffer Wolfe, died in 1977. Services were scheduled for today at noon at the Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn, with burial in Americus Cemetery, Saddle Brook. A mourning period will be observed at the Klein residence in Paramus and the Winter residence in New Hampton.

Donations to Temple Emanuel, 151 East 33rd Paterson, NJ. 07514, would be appreciated. STANLEY ZIVICKY, 73, of West New York died Sunday. Before retiring nine years ago, he owned Stanley's Tavern, North Bergen. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 365 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars post, both in Fairview.

Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Eisenhauer Zavicky; two brothers, Joseph in Florida and Vincent in Virginia; and a sister, Lottie Piecluk of Bloomfield. Services will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the A. K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park, with entombment in Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Paramus.

Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. VINCENT J. REGINELLA, 63, of Palisades Park died Sunday. Before retiring 10 years ago, he owned the Park Delicatessen, Cliffside Park. He was an Army veteran of World War IL Surviving are his wife, Josephine Cerchio Reginella; a daughter, Linda Dobos of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Gloria Andriuolo of Washington Township, Elena ZampelLa of South Plainfield, and Mary Dal Zago of New MUford.

Mass will be said tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St Nicholas R.C. Church, Palisades Park, with burial in Mount Carmel Cemtery, Tenafly. Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the A.

K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park. HENRY P. RIESDORPH, 88, of Lodi, formerly of Union City, died yesterday. Before retiring, he was a mail clerk for Chase Manhattan Bank, New York City, where he worked 38 years.

He was an Army veteran of World War I. He was a member of the American Legion Post 33 of North Bergen, and a member and past vice- president of the Union City Golden Age Club. Surviving are his wife, Agnes Clemens Riesdorph; a daughter, Marie Bruno of Lodi; two sons, Henry R. of Philadel- phia and Hugh in Florida; a sister, Frances Yhlen of 'North Bergen; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be tomorrow at 9 a.m.

at the Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Leif Olsen, 89, was Oradell councilman Leif H. Olsen, a former Oradell councilman, died yesterday.

The Oradell resident was 89. He was born in Norway and came to the United States in 1907. Before retiring in 1963, he was a senior underwriter with Mutual of New York in New York City, where he worked for 42 years. Mr. Olsen was an Oradell councilman from 1946 to 1956 and was the first councilman to be a liaison officer to the Oradell Recreation Commission, which he helped found.

He was an Army veteran of World War I. He was a former consistory member of the Reformed Church of Oradell and was a member of the Oradell Senior Citizens. He was a volunteer at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood, for 18 years. Surviving are his wife, Georgine Ewald Olsen; a son, Robert of Glen Rock; a sister, Edith Newby of Santa Fe, N.M., and two grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m.

at the Reformed Church of Oradell, with burial in George Washington Memorial Park, Pa ramus. Visiting will be tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Volk Funeral Home, Oradell. Donations to the church's memorial fund would be appreciated. PIETRO "PETE" SALERNO, 91, of East Rutherford died Sunday.

He was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1913. Before retiring in 1961, he worked for the Borough of East Rutherford. He was an Army veteran of World War I and was a member of American Legion Post 67, East Rutherford. He was a parishioner of St Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford.

Surviving are two sons, Peter and Richard, and a daughter, Josephine Salerno, all of East Rutherford; two granddaughters, and a great-grandson. His wife, Elvira, died in 1973. Services will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. at St Joseph's Church, with burial in St Joseph's Cemetery, Lyndhurst Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thomas J.

Diffily Funeral Home, Rutherford. HELEN ZAVACKY SCHAUB, 92, of Clifton, formerly of Passaic and Wellington, died Saturday. Born in Austria-Hungary, she came to this country in 1904. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C.

Church, Passaic. Surviving are two sons, Daniel of Emerald Isle, N.C., and Charles T. of Woodcliff Lake; six grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Charles, died in 1973. Mass will be said tomorrow at 9 a.m.

at St Mary's Church, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bizub-Bishop Funeral Home, Clifton. CHRISTINA REHLING SCHL0MANN, 92, of Paramus died yesterday.

She was a member of the Paramus Community Church. Surviving is a son, Fred of Paramus. Her husband, Frederick, is deceased. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus, with burial in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.

Visiting is tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. RONALD V. SHENOOK, 41, of Maywood, formerly of Little Ferry, died yesterday. He was a truck driver for Wechsler Coffee Company, Moonachie, for five years. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam war.

Surviving are his wife, Caralynn Connolly Shendock, and two daughters, Diana Paretti and Carrie Paretti, both at home; his mother, Mary Cicrerski Boggett of Little Ferry; a sister, Joyce Molinari of Moonachie; and a brother, Charles of St. Petersburg, Fla. His father, John Shendok, died in 1954. Mass will be said tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St.

Joseph's R.C. Church, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, both in Hackensack. Visiting will be today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Little Ferry.

LOIS HUNTER SMITH, 80, of Ridgewood died Sunday. She had been a teacher in Enfield, N.C. She was graduated from Shaw University, Raleigh, N.C. She was a member of the Mount Bethel Baptist Church, Ridge-, wood, and of its deaconess board and missionary society. Surviving are her husband, Austin and a sister, Eleanor Flagg of Raleigh.

Services will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Mount Bethel Church, with burial in Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood. Visiting will be tonight from 7 to ARIE TAMB0ER, 81, of Clifton, formerly of Wallington, died Saturday. He was born in Dirksland, the Netherlands, and came to the United States in 1923. He was a self-employed mason for 60 years.

He was a member of the Christian Reformed Church of Midland Park. Surviving are his wife, Adrianna Smith Tamboer, a son, Aurie of Towaco; a daughter, Elizabeth Meyer of West New York; three brothers, Leonard of Mahwah, Hen-drik of Clifton, and Adrian of Wyckoff; three sisters, Cornelia Tamboer and Elizabeth DeKorte, both of North Haledon, and Jenny Rasko of Hawthorne, and two grandchildren. Services will be tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton, with burial in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

JOSEPH F. THRUN, 73, of Brick Township, formerly of Teaneck, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1979, he was a serviceman for General Electric Company, Tea-neck, for 12 years. He was also a musician with the Johnny Ernst Band. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Gunshinan Thrun; a daughter, Mary Jo Thrun of Teaneck; a stepdaughter, Catherine Mayforth of Coxsackie, N.Y.; a stepson, Robert Deininger of Teaneck; a sister, Gertrude Thrun of Brick Township; seven grandchildren, and a greatgrandchild. Services will be tonight at 8 at the Weather-head Young Funeral Home, Brick Township. Visiting will be tonight from 7 to 9. Elizabeth Bradley Lennon, at 101 Leroy Havekost, 70, a former fire chief Elizabeth V. Bradley Lennon, of Sun City West, formerly of New York City, died Thursday.

She was 101. Surviving are a son, James in Arizona; two daughters, Elizabeth LaPietra of Fort Lee and Kathryn Burns of Bound Brook; seven grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Philip, died in 1947, and a daughter, Margaret Hafley, is also deceased. Mass will be said tomorrow at 9:45 a.m. at Epiphany R.C.

He was an award-winning stu-dent of ballroom dancing at the Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Ridgewood. He was a member of the Dance Masters of America, the Dance Educators of America, and the National Association of Dance. Surviving are a daughter. Bar "nri a AMnni a bara Roberts of N.Y a son, police Lt. Leroy Havekost of Leroy Havekost, former chief of the Saddle Brook Fire Department, died Sunday.

The Saddle Brook resident was 70. Before retiring in 1979, he was a supervisor for New York Telephone Company, where he worked for 25 years. He was a member of the Saddle Brook Volunteer Fire Department Engine Company 2, and served as chief from 1967-68. He was department chaplain since 1969. He was president of the Firemen's Welfare Fund, secretary of the Exempt Firemen's Association, and a trustee of the Relief Association, all in Saddle Brook.

Mr. Havekost was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was a former scoutmaster of St. Phillip's Scout Troop 222, Saddle Brook. -XinCLHA MIMU rLHI in SWEATS SWEATS saddle Brook, and three grandchildren.
