Lopes, 54, of Hackensack, died Wednesday, April 22. She was a systems engineer for Quest Communications of Hackensack. She was a member and served as a Trustee for the National Foundation for Animal Rescue and a member of the Hackensack Community Block Watch Program. Beloved daughter of the late Vincent F. and Theresa M.

(nee Bongiorni) Lopes. Dearest sister of Vincent C. Lopes and his wife Jane of Texas, and Joseph L. Lopes and his wife Mary of Florida. Loving aunt of Stephanie, Vinnie, Robbie, Allison, Michael and Katie.

Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Hackensack. John F. Sedlack WALDWICK John F. Sedlack, 88, of Hackensack, died Sunday April 26.

John was born and raised in Hackensack, was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish and graduated from Hackensack High School in 1939. He lived there until moving to Waldwick 12 years ago. John qualified for the U.S. Men's two-man canoe team in the 1940 Olympics. John served as a U.S.

Army MP during World War II. John was a sheet metal worker with Local 13 until retiring from town engineering. He was a member of Baseball of Hackensack from 1957 to 1967 and was chairman from 1964 to 1965. He was past president of the Jackson Avenue PTA. He was a member of the Hackensack Board of Education from 1965 to 1970 and was both vice president and president.

He also served on the Waldwick zoning board. He was a member of the Golden Club of Waldwick, Honorary Citizen of Boys Town, and member of St. Elizabeth's Church in Wyckoff. He is survived by his son John Sedlack, Jr. and his wife, Maria, of Wyckoff, his son Robert Sedlack and his wife Dolores of New Hope, and his daughter Teresa Skjold and her husband Raymond of Ramsey.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kate, John III and Sarah Sedlack and Raymond, Gregory and Ann Marie Skjold, and brother William Sedlack of Hackensack. Allison BOGOTA Paul S. Allison, 62, of Bogota, died Monday, April 27. Born in New York, he was a communications technician for Avaya, Pine Brook, retiring in 2001. A parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, he was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Bogota VFW and a former member of the Bogota Rescue Squad.

Beloved husband of Katherine E. (nee Share). Dear brother of Susan Bomzer (husband Barry), Barbara Rouillard (husband Buzz), Peter and the late Charles and brother-in-law of Ruth Allison and Linda Marshall (husband George). Also eight nieces and nephews. Funeral mass: St.

Joseph R.C. Church, Bogota. Theresa C. Cahill RIDGEFIELD PARK Theresa C. Cahill, 85, of Ridgefield Park, died Tuesday, April 28.

She was a legal secretary for Hespe and Hespe in Ridgefield Park a parishioner of St. Francis RC. Church, a member of its choir, Catholic daughters, St. Francis Players Group and an Eucharistic Minister. Dear sister to Julia Hastie, Mary Kirchhoff and the late Dolores Novern-Capelli.

Born in Weehawken, he lived in Ridgefield Park before moving to Wyckoff 36 years ago.

Raymond was employed by International Folding Box Company of Ridgefield and previously by Densen Banner of Ridgefield Park. He was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church, Ridgefield Park where he served for many years as treasurer and Sunday school superintendent. He was attending Advent Lutheran Church, Wyckoff. Raymond is survived by his dear sister Dorothy Heitmann, nephew Bill Koelln and wife Barbara, niece Marilyn Profores and husband Don, nephews John Heitmann and wife Gail, and nephew Ken Heitmann and wife Diana. Also survived by his grand-nieces Lacy and husband Aaron, Susan, and Karen, and grand-nephews Ken, Eddie, Jim, and Bryan.
