CLIFTON JOURNAL OCTOBER 5, 2012 31 YOUR NEIGHBORS ANNIVERSARY ENGAGEMENT Hawver, Gimon plan wedding Philip and Rose Marie Hawver of Loudonville, N.Y. are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Rose, to Richard Gimon, the son of Robert and Linda Gimon of Clifton. The future bride is a graduate of Shaker High School and Cornell University. She received her Medical degree from Upstate Medical University and completed her residency in Pathology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Currently, she is pursuing a fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Her fiance is a graduate of Brown University. He is a compliance officer with the French banking institution Societe Generale in New York City. A spring 2013 wedding is planned. Olga and John Mulick Mulicks celebrate 65 years together Melanie Hawver and Richard Gimon Passaic Fire Department until his retirement in 1986. He served with the Army Air Corps in India during World War II.

The couple has three children; Craig and his wife Lorraine; Linda and her husband, Gregory, of Clifton; and Robert and his wife Catherine. They have six grandchildren Jennifer, Matthew, Andrew, Catie Mulick and Nicholas and Mark Surgent. John and Olga Mulick, of Passaic, were honored at a family dinner party celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple married Oct. 4, 1947 at SS Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Passaic.

Olga, ne Andrusko, worked at Gramercy Mills and Green Sleeves, both in Passaic, prior to her retirement in 1990.
