GG14 NOVEMBER 3, 2011 COMMUNITY NEWS OBITUARIES Andrew Wach GARFIELD Andrew S. Wach, 89, died Oct. 20. Born in New Whatley, he lived there before moving to Garfield 46 years ago. He was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service in Clifton for 10 years retiring in 1977.

He was a 20-year veteran of the United States Navy, serving in WWII, retiring in 1962, attaining the rank of Chief Aviation Boatswain's Mate. He was a member of the Garfield Benda Roehrich V.F.W. Post 2867, member of the national Fleet Reserves, and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, Garfield.

He was the husband of the late Sophia; brother of Thad-deus Wach of Macon, and is also survived by many nieces, nephews. Funeral was Oct. 24 at St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church.

Arrangements by Kamienski Funeral Home, Garfield. Rocco Venezia in Clifton where he was also a member of the 39'ers club. He was a member and served on the Board of Directors of Richfield AARP Chapter 4192 in Clifton. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1954-1956. Surviving are his wife, Barbara two sons, Christopher M.

and his wife, Marie, of Newton, and Matthew C. of Washington Borough; his daughter, Patricia A. Haggerty and her husband, Michael, of Connecticut; stepdaughter, Jean A. Jones of Florida; three sisters, Palma Sileo of Cliff- side Park, Catherine Duffy of Rar-itan and Adele Venezia of Arizona; seven grandchildren; and uncle of his numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Evelyn a stepson, Steven W.

Amato; and two sisters, Rose Sangastiano and Elizabeth Alloco. Funeral was Oct. 28 at St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church.

Venezia, 76, formerly of Clifton and Saddle Brook, died Oct. 22. Born and raised in West New York, he lived in Saddle Brook and then Clifton before moving to Elmwood Park two years ago. He began his career as a mechanic with Otis Elevator, and then was a partner with Electric before he started ROC Electric in Saddle Brook, which he owned for many years before becoming an elevator inspector with the city of Jersey City, retiring from there in 2001. He was a parishioner of St.

Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church Michael Cavallomagno Sr. GARFIELD Michael V. Cavallomagno 68, died Oct. 25.

Before retiring, he was the supervisor of operations and maintenance for the Teaneck Board of Education. He was an Army veteran. He was the husband of the late Francesca; father of Michael Cavallomagno Jr. of Lake Hopatcong and his fiancee, Melissa, and Lisa Derr of Garfield and her fiance, Doug; and grandfather of five. Funeral was Oct.

She was the wife of the late Harry (1987); mother to Thomas of Garfield, William of Lancaster, Tracy Provost of Hackensack and Wendy Lederman of West Milford; grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of three; and GARFIELD Barbara Provost (nee Rossboro), 68, died Oct. 24.

Before retiring in 2006, she was a Registered Nurse for St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Garfield and a member of The NJ Nurses Associ- Michael Guadagnino Jr.

Jozef Borawa Michael R. Guadagnino 68, of Barnegat, formerly Elmwood Park, died Oct. 20. He was raised and lived in East PatersonElmwood Park where he met his high school sweetheart, Annette. Surviving are his wife, Annette; sons, Michael III and his wife, Jennifer, of Oakland, Aldino and his wife, Marianne, of Ledgewood and Anthony of Hackensack; and five grandchildren.

The family would appreciate donations to an anti-smoking organization. WALLINGTON Jozef Tadeusz Borawa, 64, died Oct. 20. Born in Stalowa Wola, Poland, he came to America in 1984 settling in the Passaic-Wallington area. He worked as a machine operator for 21 years at Sellers and Josephson, Carlstadt, until 2008.

He was the husband of his late wife, Stefania (2008) father and father-in-law of Regina Borawa-Lewandowski and Piotr Lewandowski; grandfather of one. Predeceased by his two brothers, Stanislaw and Miczyslaw Borawa. Funeral was Oct. 24 at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington, with interment at St.

She was the mother of Victoria Ameri Schildiner and her husband, Andrew, and Mark Ameri and his wife, Eileen; grandmother of four; and sister of Madeline Broffman.

Services were Oct. 27 with burial at Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Arrangements by Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn. Donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, Fair Lawn. Dorothy Capouet ELMWOOD PARK Dorothy Capouet (McCrossen), 85, died Oct.

20. Born and raised in New York City, she resided in Elmwood Park since 1957. A faithful parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn, she was a member of the Rosary Society.

Prior to retiring, she was a supervisor and office manager with Korvettes in Elmwood Park. She wife of Charles "Charlie;" mother of Charles Capouet Jr. and his wife, Joan, Marguerite Sullivan and her husband, John, Elizabeth Blundetto and her husband, John, and Bernadette Antonellis; grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of one; and sister of Muriel McCrossen. Funeral was Oct. 24 at St.
