Obituaries Christine Benanti Christine Iracane Benanti, 90, of Saddle River, formerly of Garfield, died Sept. 19. Before retiring in 1974, she was a hairdresser for Henrietta's Hair Salon, Hackensack, where she worked for 30 years. She was also a seamstress for many years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C.

Church, Garfield, and a member of its Rosary Society and choir. She was a member of Amalgamated Textiles Workers Union, New York, N.Y. Surviving are two daughters, Cira Polimeni of Saddle River and Natalie Williamson of Mahwah; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Her husband, Frank, died in 1999. Mass was offered Sept.

23 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield, handled arrangements. John Danys GARFIELD John "Butch" Danys, 62, died Sept. 15.

Before retiring in 2001, he was assistant superintendent of The City of Garfield Department of Public Works, Garfield, where he worked for 10 years. Previously, he was a carpenter with Mahoney and Troast, Jersey City, for 10 years, and assistant vice president with Lyn-clare, Clifton, for eight years. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield, handled arrangements. Anne Harrington GARFIELD Anne Ruth Watson Harrington, 71, died Sept. 21. She was a lifelong resident of Garfield.

Before retiring in 1993, she was an electronic technician with ADT, Pine Brook, where she worked for 20 years. Previously, she was an electronic technician for Bendix Aviation, Teterboro, where she worked for 15 years. She was a parishioner of Calvary Baptist Church, Garfield. She was a member of Belmont Garden Seniors, Garfield, Garfield AARP and the Bendix Bowling League. She was a 1948 Garfield High School graduate, where she was an honor student.

Surviving are a son, Eric of Bricktown; a daughter, Donna Toure of Jersey City; a sister, Roberta Murray of Moonachie; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Her husband, Wilfrid, and a son, Michael, are deceased. Services were Sept. 25 at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Garfield, with interment in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Pinkul, 83, died Sept. 16. Before retiring in 1984, he was a machinist for Bendix Teterboro, where he worked for 25 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2640, Wallington. He was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C.

Church, Wallington. He was a member of the Wallington Senior Citizens. eran. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield.

He was a life member of Nutley VFW Post 493 (past commander 1991-92), and a member of International Brotherhood of Carpenters Union, Local 102, Jersey City. He was athletic director of the Garfield Junior Boilermakers, inspector for the Garfield Board of Health, and a member of The American Legion, Belleville Post 1000. Surviving are three sons, John C. and Charles both of Garfield, and Matthew of Elmwood Park; a daughter, Colleen C. Danys of Garfield; his mother, Margaret Danys of Rutherford; a brother, Steven Danys of Rutherford; a sister, Katherine Good of Arizona; and two grandchildren.

Mass was offered Sept. 20 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, with entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield, handled arrangements. Angela Greco GARFIELD Angela La Duca Greco, 84, died Sept. 16.

She was born in Bolognetta, Italy. Before retiring in 1980, she was a seamstress for Frank Saltz and Sons, Passaic, where she worked for 20 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. She was a member of Amalgamated Textile Workers Union, New York, N.Y.

Local. Surviving are two sons, John of Garfield and Salva-tore of Elmwood Park; six daughters, Maria Valenti of Garfield, Giovanna Azzara of Manalapan, Enza Imburgia of Italy, Josephine Pepe of Elmwood Park, Phyllis Car-ollo of Garfield and Antoinette Hackett of Yard-ley, 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Francesco, died in 1968, and a daughter, Kamienski Funeral Home, Wallington, handled arrangements. Helen Wawrenski GARFIELD Helen Roller Wawrenski (Warren), 87, died Sept. 20.

Surviving are two sons, Dennis and Richard Warren; three sisters, Margaret Gay-dos, Anne Runyon and Katherine Russo; four grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. Her husband, Thaddeus, is deceased. Services were Sept. 23 at Kamienski Funeral Home, Garfield, with entombment in St. Nicholas Mausoleum.

Stella Wiatrak GARFIELD Stella Tecza Wiatrak, 82, died Sept. 18. Before retiring in 1980, she was a nurse in the pediatric ward at Wayne General Hospital. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kost-ka R.C.

Church, Garfield. She was a life member of the Garfield YMCA and a member of AARP. She was a patron of Felician College, Lodi. Surviving are a son, Kenneth; two daughters, Joan Meyer and Janice Zecchino; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her husband, Marinus, died in 1998.

Mass was offered Sept. 23 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington, handled arrangements.

Michael Yosco Sr. Michael R. Yosco 89, of Silverton, formerly of Garfield, died Sept. 17. Before retiring in 1976, he was a machine operator with Garfield Manufacturing, Wallington, where he worked for 37 years.

He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. He was a member of Garfield VFW Post 2867. Surviving are three sons, Matthew DiMinno of Lodi, Michael R.

Yosco Jr. of Garfield and Victor Yosco of Saddle Brook; a daughter, Lucille Pettineo of Fair Lawn; two brothers, Patrick Yosco of Pennsylvania and John Ragoni of Garfield; 10 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. His wife, Theresa, and a daughter, Theresa Herrick, are deceased. Mass was offered Sept. 20 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church.

Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield, handled arrangements. Girolama Zuccaro GARFIELD Girolama Cardella Zuccaro, 85, died Sept. 17. She was born in Marineo, Italy. She was a homemaker.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. Surviving are a son, Giovanni of North Haledon; five daughters, Antonina Ran-dazzo of Franklin Lakes, Graziella Arrigo of Lodi, Carmela Novello of Elmwood Park, Maria Arrigo of Lincoln Park and Francesca Princiotta of Italy; a brother, Antonino Cardella of Italy; two sisters, Francesca Cardella and Rosa Cardella, both of Italy; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Her husband, Giuseppe, a daughter, Cira D'Angelo, and three brothers, Francesco, Salvatore and Ciro Cardella, are deceased. Mass was offered Sept.

21 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, with entombment in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield, handled arrangements..
