40 Obituaries SI CO Mario Allegretta Marie Beyer Joseph Giardino Riccardo Romano CO CM HASBROUCK HEIGHTS Mario P. Allegretta, 60, died March 25.. He had been an accountant for All American Ford, Hackensack. He was a member of the Don Bosco Touchdown Club and UNICO. Surviving are his wife, Patricia (Kopp); two sons, Christopher and John of Hasbrouck Heights; a sister, Isabell Gallo of Cresskill; and brother, Peter Facchini of Rutherford.

Mass was offered March 29 at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Powell Funeral Home, Hasbrouck Heights, handled arrangements. Albert Alleva Albert "ATAlleva, 58, of Paramus, formerly of May-wood, died March 20. He was a representative for Prudential Financial in Paramus.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jean (Crowther); two daughters, Lauren Murphy and Ali; a son, Michael; three grandchildren; a brother, Joe; and two sisters, Marianne and Gina. A memorial service was held April 18 at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood. JJmmg Advertising section Mary Passantino LODI Mary Trippodi Passantino, 88, died March 24. Before retiring in 1980, she was a seamstress for Dress Shop, Lodi, where she worked for 20 years, and was a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union Local 143, Passaic. Surviving are two daughters, Pauline Wagenti of Wharton and Karen Vitale of East Rutherford; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Trippodi of Florida.

A daughter, Anita DeLauro, died in 1975. Services were March 27 at Alesso Funeral Home, Lodi, with interment in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Josephine Inserra GARFIELD Josephine Cangialosi Inserra, 95, formerly of Lodi, died March 25. Before retiring in 1968, she was an assistant designer for Betty Gail Garment New York City, where she worked for 50 years, and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

She was a member of the Holy Name Society in Garfield, AARP, and the Elks Lodge auxiliary, Hasbrouck Heights. Surviving are a son, Jack of Washington Township; two grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Charollette Cangialosi of Lodi. Her husband, Frank, died in 1981. Mass was offered March 28 at Holy Name R.C. Church, Garfield.

Alesso Funeral Home, Lodi, handled arrangements. W00D-RIDGE Marie Sarno Beyer, 42, formerly of Bayonne, died March 27. She was an office manager for CMS Medical Billing, Belleville. She was a parishioner of Assumption R.C. Church, Wood-Ridge.

Kohler Funeral Home, Wood-Ridge, handled arrangements. Anna LaRocco Anna Perrelli LaRocco, 79, of Elmwood Park, formerly of Lodi, died March 27. Before retiring in 1985, she was a seamstress for Abbott Dress Shop, Lodi, where she worked for 20 years and a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union Local 145, Passaic. She was a former county committee-woman. Surviving are two daughters, Jeanette Randazzo of Elmwood Park and Clare-anne Ali-Liebeck of Sebastian, five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Antoinette Girgenti of Cape Coral, Fla.

and Mildred Dvorkin of Rutherford. Her husband, Joseph, died in 1981. Mass was offered March 31 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, with entombment in St.

Nicholas Mausoleum. Alesso Funeral Home, Lodi, handled arrangements. Lucille Heines R0CHELLE PARK Lucille Kloppenburg Heines, 79, died March 27. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Hackensack.

Surviving are a nephew and niece. Her husband, John, died in 1998. Services were March 31 at St. Mark's Church, with interment in George Washington Memorial Park. R0CHELLE PARK Joseph Giardino, 92, formerly of West Paterson, died March 26.

He was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1914. Before retiring in 1975, he owned Fashion Clothing, Paterson, and Clothing, Passaic. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Friendship Club and the Has Beens, all in Clifton. Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Rose V. (Failla); two sons, Vincent M.D., and Anthony; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mass was offered March 31 at St. John Kanty R.C. Church, Clifton, with entombment in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Joseph Lavin MAYW00D Joseph P. Lavin, 90, formerly of Bogota, died March 25.

Before retiring in 1977, he was manager for nail and duplication for Colgate-Palmolive New York City, where he worked for 32 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Smith of Levittown, two sons, Timothy of Kingwood, Texas and Joseph J. of Tenafly; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul Lavin of Goodyear, Ariz, and Raymond Lavin of San Francisco, Calif. His wife, Elsie M.

(Johnson), two sisters, Anne Barrett and Eileen Kirby; and seven brothers, John, Patrick, Thomas, James, Frank, Robert and Larry Lavin, are deceased. Mass was offered March 29 at St. Joseph's Church, Bogota, with interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Maywood, handled arrangements.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS Riccardo D. Romano, 78, died March 26. Before retiring in 1972, he was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in the Bronx, where he worked for 25 years, and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.

He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights. Surviving are his wife, Anna L. (Lopo); two sons, Richard of New Windsor, NY. and Frank of Hasbrouck Heights; two daughters, Barbara Romano Caliendo of Fresh Meadows, NY and Terri Reynolds of Coppell, Texas; a sister, Pasqualina Abruzzo of Goshen, NY; two brothers, August Romano of Valley Stream, NY and Alfred Romano of Walden, NY; and 10 grandchildren.

Two brothers, Frank and John Romano, are deceased. Mass was offered March 29 at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, with entombment in St. Nicholas Mausoleum. Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights, handled arrangements.

Charles Roth HASBROUCK HEIGHTS Charles Roth, 74, died March 22. He had been a self-employed home repairman and builder. Surviving are four sons, Charles of California, Robert of Allendale, Joseph of Denville and Edward of Brooklyn, NY; and three grandchildren. His wife, Virginia, died in 1994. Services were March 25 at Hennessey-Powell Funeral Home, Hasbrouck Heights, with interment in Lodi Cemetery.
